REPUBLIC of China on Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen visited Eswatini on a special invitation from King Mswati lll to participate in the Kingdom’s 55 independence anniversary. Tsai who visited Eswatini in 2018, also joined King Mswati lll and Lesotho King Letsie ll.
While in Eswatini President Tsai also visited several projects her country has contributed to Eswatini. Taiwan is an important development partner contributing to agriculture, health, education as well as electrification projects.
