The Swaziland Editors Forum is proud to announce a three-year partnership programme with the University of Eswatini (UNESWA). The initiative aims at transformative capacity-building that strengthens professional competencies, ethical practice, media innovation and industry-academic collaboration.
The project that is being launched in October 2026, seeks to enhance professional skills and competencies of working journalists in Eswatini.
It will include promotion of ethical and responsible journalism as well as facilitating knowledge exchange between media practitioners and academics to support research, innovation and media development initiatives.
Members of the Swaziland Editors Forum will participate in the programme as mentors who will also teach some modules and support action learning initiatives. To stimulate interest among students to consider journalism as a career, senior year students will be welcome in the programme.
